PupClock Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 4, 2026
PupClock is a puppy potty timer and training log from Ground State. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Information on your device
PupClock stores your puppy profile, training logs, reminder settings, and setup choices on your device. These can include your puppy's name and age, event types and times, notes, locations you enter, amounts, reminder intervals, and quiet hours. An entry's location is text you provide, not GPS tracking.
PupClock does not send this training data to us. There are no accounts, automatic cloud backups, or device syncing.
Ads and privacy choices
PupClock uses Google AdMob for banner ads on History, Stats, and More, including the Weekly Report section. Ads are not shown on Home or in Quick Log.
Google's advertising software may collect and share device and advertising identifiers, IP addresses that can indicate approximate location, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Advertising data is separate from the puppy profile and training logs stored by PupClock.
PupClock uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent where required. When available, Privacy choices in More lets you revisit your choices. You can also manage your advertising ID in Android settings. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information for advertising.
Reminders
Potty reminders are scheduled on your device. You can turn them off in More or in Android's notification settings.
Reports and exported files
You can share a weekly text report or export your training history as a CSV file. You choose the app that receives a report or the location where a file is saved. A CSV can contain event types, timestamps, notes, entered locations, and amounts.
If you choose another app or a cloud storage provider, that service handles the copy under its own privacy policy. PupClock does not automatically upload these files. Exporting does not enable syncing or backup, and CSV import is not supported.
Keeping and deleting data
Logs remain on your device until you delete them or clear the app's data. You can edit or delete individual entries, or use Reset PupClock in More to clear the profile, logs, and settings. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data.
Deleting or resetting data in PupClock does not delete exported files or shared reports. Delete those copies from the places where you saved or sent them. It also does not delete data held by Google for advertising; Google's policy and controls apply to that data.
Support emails
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include, such as a message or screenshot. We use this information to answer your request and investigate the issue. Do not send information you do not want us to receive.
Children's privacy
PupClock is intended for puppy caregivers and is not directed to children.
